Purandeshwari Faces The Anger Of BJP Heads

Purandeshwari Faces The Anger Of BJP Heads

The president of the Andhra Pradesh BJP, Daggubati Purandeshwari, has recently faced criticism from Delhi.

Disappointed leaders of the TDP, YCP, and Janasena parties are exploring alternative avenues to secure tickets. However, the AP BJP, instead of capitalizing on this opportunity, is failing to do so.

Purandeshwari is being criticized within her own party for assuming a passive role, seemingly detached from politics.

Furthermore, complaints have surfaced in Delhi alleging that she is directing individuals towards joining the TDP.

The complaint suggests that if any TDP leader approaches to join the BJP, this information is relayed to the TDP high command. Consequently, BJP leaders have rebuked Purandeshwari.

Given this backdrop, Purandeshwari has realized that her position might be affected. Initially, she reached out to Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, YCP MLA of Anantapur district's Rayadurgam.

Kapu Ramachandra Reddy recently met Union Minister Rajnath Singh and has shown interest in contesting from the BJP. Additionally, a businessman from Chittoor district has joined the BJP, followed by some individuals from Krishna district.

It's noteworthy that Purandeshwari mentioned these recent additions. She highlighted the increasing popularity of the BJP in AP and noted that many people are eager to join.

Critics argue that, following the BJP's directives to address the discontent of both ruling and opposition parties in AP, Purandeshwari is fulfilling her duties without genuine commitment.
