Raghurama Krishnam Raju, the MP of Narsapuram was arrested by the CBCID yesterday. The cases were also booked on TV5 and ABN as Co-Accused.
It is also interesting to see Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan condemning this arrest though they belong to opposition. Who is opposing who and who are supporting who? This confusion has brought disgust among the public.
When we asked the people from various places of AP if Raju gets sympathy from any corner, they came out with their statements. Here are they:
"Yes, Raghurama Krishnam Raju deserves sympathy. His mental health has to be taken care of by his family members. We, as a society also should propose to the government of Andhra Pradesh to give him proper mental treatment", said a retired lecturer from Vijayawada.
"He doesn't deserve any sympathy. He welcomed this situation long ago. He wants to be in the news and nothing else. He never behaved in tune with his age or health or the position of MP", said a banker.
"He messes up with everyone but not just the government of AP. He talked about a Suman TV anchor in a ridiculing way along with alleging the same channel as a paid one. The anchor took him onto the video call to know the reason for alleging Suman TV is a paid channel. RRR apologized to her for this mistake. He has many haters across all corners", said a TV reporter from Hyderabad.
"His latest indirect encounter with Sri Reddy put him down miserably. He lost his stature as an MP while giving a reply to her. In the process he insulted a community badly. He is a political mishap in AP", shared Sinivasa Raju from Narsapuram.
"Raghurama Krishnam Raju lost his balance. He became a nuisance entertainer to the public but nothing else. He is an MP but never talks about his people or the problems in his constituency. He talks utter nonsense about castes and makes vulgar gestures attacking his own party men verbally. He cannot get any sympathy. People feel that he got what he deserved", said a Medical shopkeeper in Nellore.
"He is nothing less than a "Jabardast" artiste. His TV talks were received as fun by the majority of people. I wish he will come out on bail and continue the same TV shows with more vulgar words and more verbal attacks. Otherwise there will be no meaning for his recent moustache twirling act calling him a lion. At the same time the government should put him in jail again and again. Otherwise there will be no meaning for YS Jagan's power. We miss the reality show otherwise", said a vegetable vendor from Guntur.
"Raghurama Krishnam Raju said that his security guards will shoot out the persons who come near him. But they stood around him in a circle for some time at the beginning of the arrest episode. Later they left him at the CBCID cops and stood in silence. Raju was seen shouting "security..security" after he was pushed into the car by the cops. Telangana police also assisted the AP CBCID in this arrest. On a whole Raju should understand how the systems work. His cinematic dialogues and actions on TV channels prove to be a comedy at the end. Raju's arrest reminds me of Brahmanandam's arrest from the famous Nellore Peddareddy scene in Anaganaga Oka Roju", said a software engineer from Vizag.
On the whole, other than the family members of Raju and the hardcore haters of YSRCP government, nobody in the state seems to be showing any sympathy towards this arrest episode. Though CBN and Pawan Kalyan condemned, that's sheer political statement but not out of sympathy.
