Pawan Kalyan, the Alliance candidate contesting for Pithapuram Assembly seat, had scheduled a three day campaign in his constituency.
But he only campaigned for a single day and returned to Hyderabad by evening, canceling the schedule for the next two days.
When probed, it is said that Pawan Kalyan was hit by sunstroke and is suffering from fever, and so took a break.
If this is true, then the fitness levels of Pawan are in question.
Even during the last election season, it is known that he failed to complete the scheduled walkathon at Benz Circle in Vijayawada due to perspiration and weakness.
The question of the locals in Pithapuram is that if he fails to spend time with people not even for three days, how can he be in touch for five years if given power as this 'power star'?
On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu, who is 74 years old, is campaigning in the hot sun without any complaints.
His medical condition is not good, as per the medical certificate which helped in his release from prison. But still, he is risking his life by campaigning, which speaks about his spirit.
Even Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the other hand, has been with people, meeting them every day in his campaigns. He has been closely interacting with people with a personal touch, not caring about heat waves.
But Pawan Kalyan collapsed due to weak stamina levels.
On the other hand, some are saying that it's not just about sunstroke but, looking at the situation and understanding the ground reports, Pawan got disappointed and lost the spirit to campaign.
A section of locals says that the ground report from his own sources revealed that it is very tough to win owing to several factors, including the hidden agenda of TDP.
