Chandrababu Naidu has been holding virtual meetings with TDP leaders in Kuppam. Including the former Minister Amaranath Reddy, many local leaders are doing penance to bring victory for TDP in the coming local body elections.
In fact, Chandrababu has his own strategies to win the election. Instead of meeting the people at every door and begging for votes, he feels that it is easier to increase winning chances by going offensive on the ruling party. His idea is to create nuisance by showing someone and booking cases on them.
A few days ago an employee working in the Tourism Department in Kuppam area was assaulted by the TDP activists by branding him as a YCP convert and alleging that he brought bombs to the public meeting.
Finally his bag was checked on the spot and no explosives were found. The poor man was hospitalized and his wife wept for the TDP violence.
Chandrababu is expecting that people will turn towards him with these acts.
It can be easily anticipated that Chandrababu will make a hue and cry if his party loses the election, by alleging that the ruling party played a foul game.
Chandrababu, who boasts that he is the man who can make Prime Ministers, is now striving hard to win a local body election in his assembly constituency. How pitiful!
