Naidu-Pawan nexus exposed in Duggirala!

Naidu-Pawan nexus exposed in Duggirala!

For quite some time, YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has been frequently referring to the alleged nexus between Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party.

He has been referring to Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan as “Datta Putrudu” (adopted son) of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that the duo along with the friendly media have launched a smear campaign against his government.

While Naidu has not made any comments on the same, Pawan shot back at YSRC. He said if Jagan continued to refer to him as Naidu’s adopted son, he would have to call Jagan as the adopted son of Central Bureau of Investigation.

Yet, it has been an open secret that the Jana Sena chief is eager to have an alliance with the TDP. It was evident from Pawan Kalyan’s call to prevent split of the anti-Jagan vote in the next elections.

On Thursday, the TDP-Jana Sena nexus was once again proved during the election to Duggirala mandal parishad president election in Mangalagiri assembly constituency.

The YSRC which had only eight out of the 18 MPTC seats in Duggirala, managed to grab the mandal parishad using its influence and with the help of co-option member.

However, the TDP, which had won 9 MPTC seats, tried to capture the MPP with the support of Jana Sena which had won one MPTC seat. But the TDP did not have a BC woman candidate to contest for the MPP seat. Since YSRC had a BC woman MPTC, the post went to her.

But the TDP and Jana Sena combine grabbed the two vice president posts, because of their combined strength. This led to heavy trolling from the YSRC social media groups.

“When Jagan called Pawan as the adopted son of Naidu, the Jana Sena made a hue and cry. How do they justify the Jana Sena candidate joining the TDP camp so openly and getting the vice-president post? What kind of politics is this?” a YSRC social media activist asked.

“Why do you need politics, brother? You are unfit for politics. Go and do remake films and enjoy,” another troller said.
