Naidu creates alternative for village volunteers!

Apparently realising that the village and ward volunteers’ system has proved to be a major political network for the ruling YSR Congress party in all the elections, Telugu Desam Party headed by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has come out with an alternative mechanism that would help the party make electoral gains.

The new system of the TDP is: Family Empowerment Executive System, which it said would help the party move closer to the people of the state and firmly stand by those who are in trouble.

According to the TDP system, for every 30 families, an executive has been appointed who will not only update them periodically on the decisions of the TDP but also the future programmes to be taken up by the party.

For each assembly segment, 2,500 to 3,000 such executives are being appointed of whom 50 per cent will be women.

Party sources said that the executive will visit every doorstep to personally know their problems and gather their information in digital shape. This apart, they will take the anti-people policies to be adopted by the State Government and will help those who will formulate strategies at grassroots level to prepare the manifesto.

Once the TDP comes back to power, these executives will help the government to take the initiatives for the progress of the families in their jurisdiction. All the section incharges will be called as Family Empowerment Executives and they will also make necessary appointments wherever needed.

The Family Empowerment wing will be in existence in every assembly segment and already one cluster in-charge has been appointed for every 25,000 voters. Also, one unit in-charge each is already appointed for every 5,000 voters while one Family Empowerment Executive is now being appointed for every 30 families, the party sources observed.
