JC turns philosophical, ready to work as cleaner!

Firebrand Telugu Desam Party leader and former MLA from Tadipatri J C Prabhakar Reddy has been sporting a different look for the last few months.

He has grown long white beard and is appearing like a yogi, speaking in a philosophical tone as if people have forgotten his factionist background.

In the “Open Heart with RK” talk show on ABN-Andhra Jyothy television channel, JC brother admitted that he had once run faction in Tadipatri only for survival, but is now a completely changed man, especially after the YSR Congress party came to power.

“The main reason for the change in me is YSRCP MLA Kethireddy Pedda Reddy, who has been targeting me. He even came to my residence along with his followers who ransacked my house. I could not do anything, despite having money,” he said.

JC brother said he had questioned himself as to what he should do.

“I should either commit suicide by hanging myself or run away from Tadipatri; or I should surrender before Pedda Reddy by paying him ransom. But my party workers came to my rescue at the last moment. In fact, I saved Peddareddy’s son who was in trouble,” he said.

The former MLA, who is presently the municipal chairman of Tadipatri, said he had come to such a situation that it is enough to earn some money to feed himself, but not surrender before anyone.

“Even if YSRC comes to power again, I will not surrender. I will not change my mind. I can survive by working even as a cleaner in an automobile workshop. Anybody can give me that job, going by my experience in the field,” he said.

JC said the Jagan government thought he would succumb to the pressures if his financial roots were attacked.

“But I won’t. I am ready to work even as a gatekeeper,” he said.

He said his elder brother Diwakar Reddy had been silent because he had undergone heart operation.

“If party president N Chandrababu Naidu gives us powers, we can bring back glory to the TDP in Anantapur,” he said.
