Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had come again yet another cash transfer scheme in the state.
The new scheme would benefit women from the OBC category and the eligible beneficiary would get Rs 15,000 per year for next three years.
The OBC women in 45-60 years of age would be eligible to receive this cash benefit from the government.
This cash benefit scheme, a new one adding to the existing chain of many such schemes, would be rolled out from November this year.
The AP cabinet had cleared the new scheme at its meeting on Tuesday.
The benefit would be given to the women from the OBC category for economic uplift activity.
The women would use the money as small time investment to start some business, which several women from the weaker sections have already started.
The State government had tied-up with national and international companies in the fields of food and milk products.
These OBC women beneficiaries would be added to this list and would get the same benefits as the other women are already getting.
