The recent episode involving actors Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly has created a huge buzz in both political and film circles.
It began when BJP MLA Kamineni Srinivas raised an issue, and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna continued it.
During his speech, Balakrishna made a few harsh comments about megastar Chiranjeevi. His remarks quickly became a hot topic among fans and in state politics.
Former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has now reacted to the incident.
A reporter asked him about Balakrishna’s comments in the Assembly and Pawan Kalyan’s silence on the matter.
Jagan said, “Balakrishna came to the Assembly drunk. How can someone come like that? Allowing him to speak was also a mistake by the Speaker. His mental state was clear from the way he spoke. He should question his own psychological health for making such remarks.”
Earlier, when Balakrishna referred to Chiranjeevi during the Assembly discussion, the actor had issued a statement saying there was no insult to the film industry.
He also mentioned that then Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had treated him and others with respect during their meeting.
