Is Pawan Breaking Alliance With BJP?

Is Pawan Breaking Alliance With BJP?

A joint meeting of the TDP and Jana Sena is scheduled to take place in Rajamahendravaram on October 23.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh will jointly preside over the meeting.

Both parties have established committees to oversee the alliance and address seat-sharing concerns between them.

Representatives from these committees are set to participate in the meeting and engage in preliminary discussions regarding seat allocation.

The parties have mutually agreed to organize joint programs; consequently, TDP members have joined Pawan Kalyan's Varahi yatra in Krishna district, while Jana Sena members have participated in the TDP's protest events regarding the arrest of party chief N Chandrababu Naidu.

The pressing question now is the status of Jana Sena's alliance with the BJP in the two Telugu states. BJP leaders from Telangana have already met Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad, seeking his support.

In Telangana, Jana Sena is likely to withdraw from the electoral competition and support the BJP. However, in Andhra Pradesh, the uncertainty remains: will the alliance with the BJP persist? Or will Jana Sena align with the TDP, severing ties with the BJP?

Pawan Kalyan made conflicting statements a couple of weeks ago. In Pedana of Krishna district, he stated that he had ended the alliance with the BJP.

Surprisingly, the following day in Kaikaluru, he claimed he had not severed ties with the BJP but was attempting to include the BJP in the TDP-Jana Sena alliance.

It remains to be seen whether Jana Sena's efforts to involve the BJP in the alliance will succeed or if Jana Sena will break the alliance to assist the TDP.
