Ground Survey: YCP To Break Its 2019 Record?

Ground Survey: YCP To Break Its 2019 Record?

Greatandhra bureau made a comprehensive sampling survey to know the pulse of the voters in different regions of Andhra Pradesh.

The reports have come region wise and it is clear that YSRCP is still holding its forte in some areas while getting slightly dented in some regions.

However 51% of the voters are on the side of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy which is a bit more than that of what he procured in 2019 general elections.

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan is nowhere considered by the voters. There is no growth in the support for TDP as well.

Rayalaseema region is showing huge loyalty for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy even after the three years of his rule. The situation of the TDP in this region is the worst. There are more than 60% pro YCP voters in this region.

It is true that the waves of anti-incumbency are natural after a few years of rule. Though the region is intact in the hold of YCP, some sitting MLAs have apparently lost the people's faith. Things have to be corrected here.

All said and done, the feat of 2019 may repeat for YCP in this region in the coming elections with the huge 60% loyalty of the voters towards the party. The party may break its 2019 record as well.

The situation in some parts of AP shows that YCP is not on par with that of the situation in Rayalaseema, Nellore and Prakasam. Especially in Krishna and Guntur districts  the pro YCP wave is limited to 50%. The urban voters in this region are not so faithful to YCP.

Though 50% acceptance cannot be considered as anti incumbency, the party should score more here as it affects the overall percentage of acceptance.

The interesting aspect observed in Godavari districts is the atmosphere of triangular fight. Only 40% of voters are pro-YCP here. TDP is almost close to YCP here with 35% acceptance. 25% are inclined towards Janasena.

So, it should be seen if the TDP Janasena alliance holds grip on this region. This is the only region which is showing a totally different atmosphere when compared to the rest of the state.

YCP is leading in Visakha and North Andhra with an impressive 54% acceptance. The second big player in this region is TDP while Janasena is not at all in consideration.

So, the overall acceptance for the YCP government in the state is 51% which proves that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to make his party win again with a huge majority, in the general elections.
