BJP showing one-sided love towards Pawan!

BJP showing one-sided love towards Pawan!

Even as the alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Jana Sena Party appears to be on rocks with the latter inclining towards the Telugu Desam Party, the saffron party appears to be trying to put psychological pressure on its hitherto alliance partner.

On Tuesday, BJP co-incharge of Andhra Pradesh affairs Sunil Deodhar announced that P V N Madhav would be the common candidate of the BJP and Jana Sena for the ensuing elections to the state legislative council from graduates’ constituency.

The announcement was made from a stage in Visakhapatnam where the party put up a big poster with the pictures of BJP state unit president Somu Veerraju and Pawan Kalyan, in order to indicate that both the parties are still alliance partners.

In fact, when a candidate is declared as a common candidate of alliance partners, there should be a joint statement from both the parties. But nothing of sort that has happened strangely.

There was no Jana Sena Party leader on the stage nor was there any statement from the party or its president Pawan Kalyan, extending support to Madhav. It appeared to be completely one-sided love from the BJP with no reciprocation from Jana Sena.

Deodhar declared that the BJP would continue to sail with Jana Sena Party. In the same breath, he also announced that regional parties would cause a big harm to the nation. Only BJP can do justice for Andhra Pradesh and it would fight for the people.

“On behalf of the BJP and Jana Sena, I appeal to all the graduates to extend support to Madhav and help him win the MLC elections,” he said.
