BJP Happy With Jagan's Capital Plan

BJP Happy With Jagan's Capital Plan

The BJP leaders across the nation seem to be happy with chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's plan of three capitals for the state.

The BJP leaders, one after the other, are speaking in favor of the proposal, welcoming the decentralization.

It was first BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana who welcomed Jagan Mohan Reddy's plan to have three capitals for the State.

The BJP MLCs, Somu Veerraju and P V N Madhav have also welcomed the proposal, before the winter session of the Assembly was closed.

The BJP MP and national spokesman GVL Narasimha Rao in Delhi welcomed Jagan Mohan Reddy's plan of having three capitals.

The proposal for establishing High Court in Kurnool is welcomed by every one. It has been part of the history of the State, as Rayalaseema region lost capital after the first bifurcation from Madras state.

The proposal to have executive capital in Visakhapatnam is something that the politicians from the three north coastal districts and East Godavari district are welcoming.

The political equations would change with the capital moving to Visakhapatnam for all practical purposes. Though shifting the entire executive might take a couple of years, the ruling YSR Congress seems to have taken the political advantage.

The Left parties have no stakes on this issue. Whatever the Jana Sena speaks will certainly not help Pawan Kalyan, as it is scripted for and by the TDP.

Finally, with all political parties, particularly the BJP, welcoming it and the TDP scared of making any political statement, the YSR Congress is flying high, as its political strategy worked well.
