The revenue department has seized the government lands encroached by Velagapudi Ramakrishna this early morning.

He stepped into liquor business from Vizag and eventually entered politics. He earned big and procured several lands.
On the other hand Anakapalli's former MLA and TDP leader Peela Govind's encroached lands of a mammoth 300 acres was also taken back by the Revenue Department. This land is worth Rs 300 cr as per a rough estimate. This proves to be the weekend shock for TDP leaders in Vizag.
