Andhra ministers packing their bags, partying!

With just a few hours left for their tenue to come to an end, many of the ministers in the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy cabinet are said to be packing their bags in their respective chambers in the state secretariat at Velagapudi.

The chief minister has called for the cabinet meeting on Thursday where he would thank all his cabinet colleagues for their cooperation all these days and assure them of utilising their services in the party appropriately. He would then seek their resignation letters in the proper format.

Some of the ministers like Balineni Srinivas Reddy kept themselves busy in the official programmes like laying of foundation stones for various projects and schemes, while others are confined to their homes keeping their fingers crossed.

The ministers are also vacating their camp offices in their respective districts. They have already transferred the staff in their peshis to the departments as per their convenience.

Some of them are said to have also collected confidential files, so that there would not be any scope for their controversial decisions.

Sources said some of the ministers are throwing parties to their friends and media representatives on Wednesday night. Obviously, it is the last opportunity to host the parties with official money.

State information minister Perni Nani is hosting lunch for the media persons at Secretariat on Thursday afternoon.

So, it’s good bye and best of luck to the outgoing ministers!
