Comedian Ali will now have to move to Guntur city as he reportedly got confirmation of TDP ticket as MLA in the coming Andhra Pradesh assembly polls 2019.
Political journalists say Ali got assurance from TDP supremo regarding Guntur East ticket.
Ali was with Pawan Kalyan right from the launch of Jana Sena party but he is not showing interest to contest on Jana Sena party.
He then approached YS Jagnmohan Reddy to allot him a seat in East Godavari district but Jagan didn’t promise him anything except that asked him to join the party first.
Ali stood on a position that he would join any party that promises him a MLA ticket.
He finally got the assurance from TDP as it is looking for a Muslim candidate to field against the incumbent MLA Musthafa Shaik of YSRC.
It is said that Ali is already in search of houses in Guntur to use it as office cum residence.
