"Karthikeya 2" proved to be a tremendous success for Nikhil Siddhartha. Not only did the film become his biggest hit in the Telugu states, but it also garnered recognition at the national level.
The success of "Karthikeya 2" in North India has prompted him to contemplate delving into more pan-Indian projects.
While he didn't release "18 Pages" in Hindi, he did so for his latest film, "Spy."
Nikhil believed that the theme of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's death would resonate well in Hindi and across India. As a result, the marketing of "Spy" focused primarily on Bose's storyline.
Despite Nikhil Siddhartha's request for additional time for the film's release and promotion, the producer was driven by greed and decided to release "Spy" on June 29th.
Unfortunately, the film has performed dismally in the Hindi market. The opening weekend figures for the Hindi version are close to zero.
The outcome of "Spy" has presented a setback to Nikhil's aspirations of establishing a pan-Indian market.
Currently, he is working on "Swayambhu," another pan-Indian film, and has recently announced another project titled "The India House."
To keep his pan-Indian dreams alive, Nikhil must achieve the desired results with these two films.
