The film 'Ramudu Bheemudu' that was made in 1964 was made in many languages. It was released in Hindi as 'Ram Aur Shyam', in Malayalam as 'Ajay-Vijay', in Tamil as 'Enga Veettu Pillai' and also in Oriya with some other title.
The rights of this film were vested in the hands of Narasaraju, the story writer of the film but not with Dr Ramanaidu. The film was famous as the first film of Dr Ramanaidu as producer. The remake rights were sold for all languages by Narasa Raju only. The prices of other rights were not known but the Hindi rights were sold at Rs 75,000 and Oriya rights at Rs 5,000 those days. The Oriya film was made in 1977.
The film ran well in all the languages.
