Akkineni Nagarjuna recalls his days when he rode cycle on Somaji Guda roads. That was not in his childhood but in 1989, during the shooting of the film 'Shiva'. The cycle chasing scene in the film 'Shiva' was shot on this road (presently close to Yashoda Hospital). He said that the shot was made several times up to the perfection on the road. He said that there was no traffic on that road at that time but now it turned a busiest hub in Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna also recalled his experience with cycle when he was in childhood. Once when he was around 15 he parked his cycle at Taj Mahal hotel in Abids and found the cycle theft by someone by the time he came out. He said that his dad reprimanded him for his carelessness. Since then he learnt carefulness, he said.
