Why 'RRR' Collections Are Silently Crawling Up?

Why 'RRR' Collections Are Silently Crawling Up?

It has been quite a long time since the movie RRR was removed from theaters.

Initially, despite a less-than-overwhelming response and not many viewers watching the movie multiple times like they did for Bahubali series, it was portrayed as if the film had grossed over Rs 1000 Cr. There were many doubts on that number in those days itself.

Finally, the reported figure was around Rs 1150 Cr by the end of its full run.

Later, by somehow attributing collections from the Japanese release and USA shows, the reported earnings were seemingly inflated with the intention of surpassing KGF.

The total was around Rs 1250 Crore plus at that point, but it has now reached Rs 1387 Cr on the list of highest-grossing Indian films worldwide on Wikipedia. This implies an increase of more than Rs 150 Cr since the end of its full run.

It is not clear who is moderating this page, but the increase in the numbers is causing confusion about how a movie that is no longer in theaters is adding to its collections.
