Naga Chaitanya has reportedly turned down five film offers from director Venky Atluri.
This revelation came directly from Atluri himself, a filmmaker known for helming successful films like Tholi Prema with Varun Tej, Rang De with Nithiin, Sir with Dhanush, and the upcoming Lucky Baskhar starring Dulquer Salmaan. He is currently working on a pan-India project with Tamil superstar Suriya.
Interestingly, Atluri revealed that he had originally pitched all of these hit scripts to Naga Chaitanya. However, the actor declined each one—mostly citing scheduling conflicts—prompting the director to approach other actors.
While it's unclear if scheduling issues were the sole reason for the rejections, Chaitanya's fans are expressing disappointment, feeling he may have missed out on several career-defining roles.
