Why Did Nani Miss Rajnikanth's Film?

Why Did Nani Miss Rajnikanth's Film?

Two weeks ago, the Tamil media was buzzing with the news that Nani had signed on to act in superstar Rajinikanth's new film.

It was also stated that Nani's involvement in this project would benefit the Telugu business, as Rajinikanth's films were performing poorly in the Telugu states. This decision was widely seen as a prudent move by the makers.

However, the situation has since changed. Rajinikanth demonstrated with "Jailer" that his popularity is still vibrant in the Telugu states, as the film achieved massive success. He has proven that he doesn't require the assistance of another young Telugu hero.

The latest reports indicate that the producers of Rajinikanth's upcoming film have opted to cast Sharwanand instead of Nani. An official announcement is expected shortly.

When inquired about why Nani was replaced by Sharwanand, it is said that Nani himself chose not to take on this role.

The character is a villainous one, akin to his role in 'V', which did not receive a positive response overall.

Considering the negative feedback he received, Nani decided to distance himself from this film, even if it means missing out on an opportunity to work with Rajnikanth.
