An interview with hero Gopichand and director Teja was planned as a part of 'Ramabanam' campaign. However, it seems that whoever planned this interview did not take Teja's mentality into account.
He is a director with free will and unfiltered spirit. As a result, Teja's explosive interview caused Gopichand to be sidelined and unable to speak.
The promo of the interview went viral and generated numerous thumbnail images and headlines. This led to the realization that the Rambanam is getting sidelined.
Although the Gopichand-Teja interview was released, it was clear that many cuts had been made to remove potentially troublesome parts. In fact, almost 90% of the material shown in promo is not seen in the main interview.
It begs the question why an interview was conducted with Teja for this purpose, when the same answers could have been obtained by an average anchor.
It is disappointing that a valuable opportunity was wasted, as Teja is the foundation of Gopichand's career and they could have had a great combination.
