Industry insiders reveal that one of the top contenders has now exited the race, reportedly stating he was only willing to invest up to Rs 50 crore — far below the asking price.

While the film is expected to perform well in Bollywood, many in the Telugu film industry feel it lacks the regional appeal required for success in the Telugu market. This growing skepticism has prompted potential buyers to back out cautiously.
