Vijay Uses Only a Minor Portion of Bhagavanth Kesari

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy shooting for Jana Nayagan (People’s Leader), which is widely believed to be his final film before he makes a full-time entry into electoral politics. As a result, expectations for the project are sky-high.

It is already known that Jana Nayagan is based on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Although the makers of Vijay’s film acquired the remake rights for a hefty sum, the original story will not be used in its entirety.

Sources reveal that director H. Vinoth has significantly reworked the script, adding new elements to further enhance Vijay’s image.

The film will reportedly feature strong political and social themes, making it more than just a straightforward remake.

Instead of a frame-by-frame adaptation, the story and sequences have been modified to align with Vijay’s persona and the socio-political landscape of Tamil Nadu.
