Talented filmmaker Venu Udugula has once again showcased his flair for meaningful, rooted storytelling.
After impressing audiences with Needi Naadi Oke Katha and making a strong impact with Virata Parvam, the director known for his realistic, emotion-driven narratives has now delivered another success — this time as a producer.
Under his banner Dolamukhi Subaltern Films, Venu backed the rural romance Raju Weds Rambai, starring Akil Raj and Tejaswini. The film recently hit theatres and has emerged as a solid box-office success.
Encouraged by the positive response to Raju Weds Rambai, Venu is now preparing to produce more rooted, contemporary, and locally inspired stories that capture the culture and emotions of the heartland.
Meanwhile, on the direction front, the filmmaker is gearing up for an exciting multistarrer under UV Creations, with pre-production already underway. He has also given the green signal for another project under Vivek Kuchibotla’s production.
