Tantric astrologer Venu Swamy performed a three-day Bagalamukhi Homam. He himself revealed this on Instagram.
He also mentioned that he did this Homam for the success of a big film that is going to release soon. Apart from Akhanda 2, which other big film is releasing this month? None.
Other Sankranthi films are still in post-production, and no team has reached the stage of doing Homams.
So it is clear that the Bagalamukhi Homam done by Venu Swamy was mainly for Akhanda 2.
Another supporting point is that both Balakrishna and Boyapati strongly believe in such practices.
Balakrishna may stay away from Homams personally, but he believes a lot in vastu, astrology, and muhurthams. Even for meeting someone, he fixes a muhurtham.
Boyapati is also the same. No matter how urgent the work is, he won’t step out of the house until the right muhurtham arrives. Even for routine office work, he checks for good timings and avoids bad muhurthams.
So it is quite possible that Boyapati might be behind this Homam or someone close to him arranged it based on his suggestion.
