Varisu is the Tamil film produced by Telugu producer Dil Raju which is set to release for the coming Pongal.
The film is also getting dubbed into Telugu as Varasudu to release simultaneously.
Sharing about an interesting background, Dil Raju revealed that the script of Varisu was written keeping Mahesh Babu in mind.
As he was preoccupied with other assignments he couldn't be able to allot the dates in desired time. So, the film was offered to Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Prabhas but none were able to sign on the dotted line.
Finally the script knocked Tamil hero Vijay's door who agreed to do the film.
In fact, this revelation may give negative results as it is giving a sense that this is the script rejected by five Telugu stars.
