The much-awaited collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, titled Spirit, is inching closer to its launch.
While the official start is pending until Prabhas finalizes his dates, Vanga has already revealed details about his unique filmmaking process.
Speaking on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, the director shared that he is following the same approach he adopted for his blockbuster Animal.
“I find it easier to shoot when the background score is already prepared. It helps me decide when to call ‘action’ or ‘cut,’” Vanga explained. “During Kabir Singh, I realized pre-recorded BGM makes production smoother. For Animal, nearly 80% of the score was done before filming began. For Spirit, about 70% of the music is already ready.”
Vanga said this method not only enhances the atmosphere on set but also saves up to a week of production time.
Praising Prabhas, he added, “He is very transparent and a joy to work with. Despite being such a huge star, he never flaunts it. We will begin shooting Spirit very soon.”
