Director Vamshi Paidipally is among the select Telugu filmmakers who have collaborated with top-tier stars such as Prabhas, NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and Thalapathy Vijay.
He had hoped to direct Pawan Kalyan next, but the project failed to take off. Later, he shifted focus to Bollywood, aiming to set up a large-scale Hindi pan-Indian film.
Paidipally developed a story and spent nearly a year working on the script after receiving initial interest from Aamir Khan.
However, the Bollywood superstar reportedly was not satisfied with the final version, leading to the project being shelved.
Recently, rumors surfaced that Salman Khan had approved another project with the director, but producer Dil Raju has now clarified that nothing has been finalized on that front either.
As a result, Vamshi Paidipally — whose last film hit theatres almost three years ago — is currently without a confirmed project.
Despite this, Paidipally remains focused on working only with major stars, and he doesn’t mind waiting years for their approval.
It now remains to be seen which top hero will sign his next film.
