Sriram Venu has been around in the industry for quite sometime now. He made debut with Oh My Friend and later scored a hit with MCA.
He is currently wielding the megaphone for Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab. Despite that not many would recognize this young director. Even Vakeel Saab is not getting him enough attention for obvious reasons.
Sukumar’s protégé and a permanent feature in Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations compound, Sriram Venu has indeed impressed Allu Arjun in a single sitting.
Allu Arjun instantly said okay to Sriram Venu’s Icon that was made official a year ago. However, the film is yet to hit the floors and there is still uncertainty over its future.
Allu Arjun liked the script, but is not so keen on launching it anytime soon. Dil Raju and Sriram Venu are hoping that the Stylish Star will do Icon sooner or later.
In fact, they used the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday to remind him that Team Icon is in the waiting. Allu Arjun didn’t respond to their greetings yet.
Perhaps he will take a call on Icon by the time Pushpa’s filming reaches final stages.
