US BO: 'Bro' Puts Up Ordinary Show

"Bro," starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, grossed little over one million dollars in its first weekend.

If the film had been good and received positive reviews, it would have surpassed the 2 million mark.

While the film made more than $600k in the premieres, it only made another $500k in the remaining three days of the first weekend.

In the first weekend, the film's performance was  ordinary. The only saving grace is that it did not completely collapse.

#Bro - Thu: $648K Fri: $216K Sat: $206K Sun: $115k Total: $1,184,014

Because no notable films are scheduled to be released in the first week of August, "Bro" may have a decent run for another week.

Directed by Samuthirakani and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, “Bro” is the remake of a Tamil film “Vinodaya Sitham”.

The remake suffered due to poor writing and the design of Pawan Kalyan’s character.
