Kapil Sharma is charging Rs 5 crore per episode for The Great Indian Kapil Show, a popular comedy programme now in its third season.
He earned Rs 65 crore from the first season, which featured 13 episodes, and charged the same amount for the second season. The comedian will maintain the Rs 5 crore rate for Season 3 as well.
The latest season premiered on June 21, featuring superstar Salman Khan as a guest.
The show also stars Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Created by Kapil Sharma and co-produced with Akshit Lahoria and Gurjot Singh, the programme continues to entertain audiences.
Kapil began his career by winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007. Since then, he has hosted popular shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and acted in films, making him one of India’s best-known comedians.
