Trimming Work Underway for Veera Simha Reddy

Trimming Work Underway for Veera Simha Reddy

Veera Simha Reddy, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has yet to finish censor formalities despite being one of the early releases of the year.

On Friday, you can see the film's trailer. This weekend, the makers finish up the censoring process.

Apparently, director Gopichand Malineni is currently putting in extra hours to trim the film's running time. The final cut of the film clocks in at over three hours.

The current target time for Gopichand and his editor is 2 hours 50 minutes (2 hours 45 minutes being ideal).

Both "Waltair Veerayya" and Vijay's "Vaarasudu" were extremely long in length. The same problems are now plaguing "Veera Simha Reddy."

The shorter the running time of an action or mass drama, the better. Otherwise, people would feel weighed down.

Balakrishna's film is a typical faction drama.
