The cat is out of the bag. It is leading stars who are playing obstruction to the resumption of shootings.
While producers and directors are eager to get back to the work, the top stars are averse to this idea. Except “RRR”, no other big movie may resume shooting this month.
Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa”, Chiranjeevi’s “Acharya”, Mahesh Babu’s “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” and Pawan Kalyan’s “Vakeel Saab” can only hit the floors either in July or August depending on the situation of corona crisis.
Even as the governments have eased lockdown restrictions, the pandemic is far from the containment. The positive cases in Hyderabad are increasing multifold. This has scared the top stars who don’t want to take a risk.
The resumption of shootings will remain just a topic in the media. Until top stars come forward, the industry will not see much activity.
