Top 5: Week Of Three New Disasters

Top 5: Week Of Three New Disasters

1. Hit 2: Even after the second week of release, this film starring Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Choudary stood up as a good hit of the season.

The film had enough pre-release hype as it's from a successful franchise and Nani being its producer. The openings were pretty good and the talk was also very positive.

Though the collections are reduced by now, this film stands in the top list of the week when compared to other films.

2. Love Today: The film that rocked in Tamil has come on to the Telugu screen. It outdid many of the other existing straight films last week and performed well at the box office.

It received enough traction even in the third weekend the collections are ok.

3. Gurthunda Seethakalam: This new release of the week ended up as a disaster. Though the Tamannah factor pulled the audience to theatres to a small extent, the word of mouth publicity marred the film miserably.

The collections were pitiful and even on the day one majority of the theatres failed to make impressive collections. The full run of this film seems to have ended very fast.

4. Mukhachitram: This is another disaster of the week. Though the film has some poster value due to the presence of Vishwak Sen on it, the audience didn't take the film seriously at all.

The collections in many centers were meagre to dull making the film record a disaster. Above this, the reviews are not so encouraging to bring in theatrical patronage for the film.

5. Panchatantram: The film scored a flop in spite of notable starcast and sensible tracks.

Out of the five stories narrated in it, two touched the hearts of the audience but that didn't help the collections unfortunately.

The film has something in it but that's not sufficient to pull the audience to theatres.
