Top 5: Raja Raja Chora Is The Topper

The films are hitting the theatres to prove their mettle. But only the fewest of the few are winning the hearts of the audiences.

In spite of that it is becoming difficult even for the toppers to win at the box office owing to the non patronize of the public like before.

Here is the list of five top films that pulled the attention of the audience last week.

1. Raja Raja Chora: This film topped the list. Sri Vishnu's performance and Hasith Goli's narration won the unanimous praise from all sections of audience and media. But still the collections are not up to the mark.

It was expected that this film could do some wonders at the box office in the lines of Jathi Ratnalu. But that didn't happen. Whoever didn't feel the pull factor to rush to the theatres are awaiting the OTT release of the film.

2. SR Kalyana Mandapam: This film starring Kiran Abbavaram and directed by Sridhar Gade could make some noise on the day of release. But within a couple dates it became stale at the box office.

The patronage of the public has been low in spite of superhit songs and attractive trailers. Finally it could garner the image of a good film but not a good grosser.

3. Paagal: Vishvak Sen made an experiment to appear as a lover boy. He attempted to portray a hilarious role. But things didn't fall in place and the film bagged mixed response on the day-1. This Naresh Kuppili directorial couldn't make any sound at the box office after three days of its release.

Though some numbers have come out, the media is skeptical about the same knowing the traction at the theatres.

4. Bell Bottom: This film shocked the nation with the poorest response ever for an Akshay Kumar's film. This got highly praised reviews from national media to the regional media. But still the turn out at the theatres is miserable.

The reason can be attributed only to the pandemic fear that engulfed the nation. The situation was not like this after the end of the first wave but the second wave shock still didn't vacate the minds of the people.

This film made the all time low collections in the career of Akshay Kumar.

5. Crazy Uncles: This film starring Mano, Raja Ravindra and Bharani Shankar directed by Satti Babu faced worst reviews from audiences.

The film is nothing but farcical comedy made in poor taste. This had many expectations from the audience but disappointed miserably.
