Top 5: Foreign Films Rule The Box Office

Top 5: Foreign Films Rule The Box Office

1. Shang-Chi: This is the surprise superhit of the season. Not many know the arrival of this film but it was opened with impressive crowds. Not only the urban crowds, but this film is doing well in the B and C Centers.

A foreign film ruling the regional box office and standing in top position rarely happens under the conditions of heavy publicity and hype. But this Sang Chi is a surprise hit out of the blue.

2. Fast and Furious 9: This Hollywood venture is standing in position#2 this week at the regional box office in spite of not doing big in collections when compared to that of its previous version.

The younger crowds patronized the film for its heavy action part.

The pre release publicity from a quite long time added to the business on a whole in spite of resistance from the public from coming out to the theatres.

3. Dear Megha: This is the third film in line which could garner reasonable collections.

Though a small film with not so big stars, the actress Megha Akash playing the title role pulled the crowds to theatre to a considerable extent.

The teenage crowds are the reason for the response at theatres.

4. 101 Jillala Andagadu: This much hyped film couldn't attract the crowds up to the expectations.

Promising writer and actor Srinivas Avasarala is a reason for putting attention for this film but what is expected is not seen and that resulted in weak talk at the end of the first day.

Had it been a non stop laugh riot, it could have received far better result.

5. Sridevi Soda Center: This well publicized film entered the second week and continuing in the fifth position with regard to collections.

The film made on the basis of honor killing, though beaten in concept, could standup as a reasonably well made film. The theatrical business for this film is almost done.
