Top 5: Dubbed Film Sits In Top Chair

1. Kantara: The film opened to housefuls in many centers owing to the talk it garnered with the Kannada version. It enticed the audience for its technical excellence and the talk was positive for the same.

The collections continued to be good for the weekend and the real test for this film starts from today with its performance on the weekdays.

On a whole, the film turned out to be a hit for the kind of collection it made in the first three days.

2. Godfather: The most anticipated film ended up as an average grosser at the box office. The remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam hit Lucifer is made as Chiranjeevi's Godfather and proved to be a decent make.

The talk was average to good on the day one but the collections are not as thumping as expected. After the end of two weeks, the film is yet to make a breakeven for the kind of prices it was sold to different centers.

3. Crazy fellow: The film starring Adi Saikumar and Digangana Suryavamshi went unnoticed without any trace. It failed to pull the attention of the audience either with the trailer or the title.

Phani Krishna Siriki directed the film while KK Radha Mohan produced it. It was declared as a flop for the kind of poor openings and not encouraging talk on the first day itself.

4. Boyfriend for Hire: It ended up as a super flop with the poor openings. Though the title sounds intriguing, the line chosen to narrate this story didn't go well with the audience of any age group.

The talk was bad and the collections dropped from the poor to the poorest for the subsequent shows. It has ended its run at the theatre.

Santhosh Kambhampati directed the film while Viswant and Malavika are the main leads.

5. PS1: Two weeks ago, the film had a decent opening in Telugu states on the first day amidst the hype. Due to holidays, it continued the same trend despite bad reviews and negative word of mouth.

The film proved to be successful with its Tamil version while the Telugu version has to struggle hard to break even where the Hindi version is a disaster. The collections for the Telugu version are below average and almost scanty.
