The regional box office has seen better results after a long time with almost every film in the theater doing reasonable business.
Here is the list of Top-5 of the week.
1. Shyam Singha Roy: The film starring Nani in dual roles caught the attention of many ever since it's trailer launch. The film based on the rebirth concept is not new but this has its own merits in engaging the audience. Nani's impeccable performance added value to the narration and finally this could take top seat at the box office this week. The collections are impressive in the first weekend.
2. Pushpa: This Allu Arjun starrer is doing well in the theaters even in the second weekend. Being the biggest new film in the list, and gaining huge attention with the superhit songs, the film is still rocking at the box office though it has observed a steep fall when compared to that of the first week. The collections are reasonable on an average everywhere.
3. 83: This Bollywood film based on the historic sports epic of 1983 made good openings in many centers throughout the nation. It's performance is good at the regional box office as well. As cricket is the common religion among majority of Indians, this film could pull the attention of many. This got critical acclaim on the day-one and performed well in the first weekend.
4. Akhanda: The collections have come down heavily in many places in the fourth weekend but this could still sustain at the theaters. Boyapati's extravagant action film turned the attention of many Telugu audiences throughout the world and finally this stood up as a blockbuster in the filmography of Balakrishna. The theatrical run is almost complete this weekend and it may hit the OTT soon.
5. Spiderman: This Hollywood film is the last but not the least in this Top list of this week as it made its success sound echo in multiplexes of A centers. The audience of the age group between 15 and 25 are the major patrons that made this film a superhit at the targeted regional box office. The theatrical run of this film has almost come down by the end of the second weekend.
