Top 5: AVPL Continues Its Stronghold Despite Competition

1) Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo retained its top spot for fourth consecutive weekend. AVPL maintained it stronghold despite competition from multiple new releases.

It picked up on Saturday after slowing down during week days and had a fantastic Sunday with most of the theaters putting up house full boards.

2) Ashwathama: Naga Shaurya tried his hand at action and his crime thriller has been receiving mixed response.

It had a fairly decent weekend with decent turnouts across single screens. But it will need to hold well during the week days.

3) Sarileru Neekevvaru: Sarileru Neekevvaru still has some gas left in its tank, which was evident on Sunday.

There was a sudden jump in collections on Sunday, but the poor turnouts during weekdays will be an issue for its buyers to hold the theaters for few more days.

4) Disco Raja: Raviteja now has four disasters in a row. Disco Raja has turned out to be a major disappointment leaving a big hole in its producer and buyers pockets.

5) Chusi Chudangane: This small film has been ignored by ticket paying public despite strong promotions.

Its weak content and short film standard filmmaking further hampered its chances to pick up.
