Tollywood was in doldrums in the first wave of the corona pandemic itself. There was a long wait to see the reopening of theatres and even after that there was enough wait to see the crowds back.
But finally everything got settled down and the public started thronging at the theatres for big films.
Now the second wave started within no time. The situation is back to square one with the shutting down of theatres. But Tollywood is not feeling any tense moments.
The planning and discussions are going on normally. The works are happening and the release plans are also being made post June.
Many are in the mood that the pandemic wave will sustain only till this month ends and the situation becomes normal after that.
Vaccination process is going on and some producers are spending Rs 1500 and getting the staff vaccinated as well.
There are no government lockdowns on shootings and theatres. Everything has been self imposed for obvious pandemic and business reasons. Tollywood is not in the grip of pandemic fear business wise as they got the experience.
The release of new songs and first looks are happening even in this tough pandemic situation.
