Santhana Prapthirasthu, starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on November 14.
Produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy under Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts, the film is directed by Sanjeev Reddy with a screenplay by Sheikh Dawood G.
Director-actor Tharun Bhascker, who plays Jack Reddy, a man who runs funeral services and flaunts his caste pride, shared his thoughts after watching the film.
He praised the team for handling the sensitive subject of infertility with a blend of humor and emotion.
“When I was acting in Santhana Prapthirasthu, I had some doubts, but after watching the film, they all vanished,” Tharun said. “It’s a light-hearted and engaging entertainer. The way they presented a serious topic like infertility reminded me of Ayushmann Khurrana’s style in Bollywood; tackling sensitive issues with warmth and humor. Watching this film felt like enjoying a comforting Telugu home meal; simple, satisfying, and heartfelt.”
He added that his character, Jack Reddy, represents people who seem tough on the outside but are soft-hearted within, and hinted that the role could even have a spin-off in the future.
He praised Sanjeev Reddy’s clarity in direction, Vikranth’s perfect casting, and the entire team’s honest effort.
“I strongly recommend everyone to watch Santhana Prapthirasthu when it hits theaters on November 14,” Tharun concluded.
