T'gana Film Audience Spent Rs 350 Cr in 3 Months

The trade pundits calculate the amount spent by the audience of Naizam area from Feb 25th to May 15th. The break up also has come based on the gross collection at the box offices of different films.

Coming to the main films, the figures are like this:

For the film Bheemla Nayak and Radhe Shyam, the audienced shelled out Rs 40 Cr each. Then for RRR it was a whopping Rs 165 Cr and for KGF2 it was Rs 75 Cr. Even for Acharya they spent around Rs 20 Cr and for Sarkaru Vaari Paata (still running) Rs 30 Cr so far.

Even considering the meager collections for the films like DJ Tillu and Ashokavanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, the total figure is coming close to Rs 350 Cr.

Out of these, the family audience patronized the films RRR and Sarkaru Vaari Paata while the remaining all were pulled mainly by the young audience.

It becomes an expensive task for family audiences to watch the films regularly owing to the huge ticket prices.

Not every film can pull the audience to theaters like before, in spite of having big heroes and heroines. The plight of small and mid range films can be understood.

As the audience spent huge amounts on films, those have come one after the other, they have slowed down in spending further. This is the reason the collections of Sarkaru Vaari Paata are not rocking at the box office.
