Telusu Kada Set to Be Siddhu's Biggest Flop Post-COVID?

Telusu Kada Set to Be Siddhu's Biggest Flop Post-COVID?

Telusu Kada, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty, has turned out to be a major disappointment at the Indian box office.

Released with decent expectations, the film has struggled to earn even respectable numbers and wrapped up its second weekend on a poor note.

The Telugu romantic drama opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. With weak word-of-mouth, it couldn’t pick up momentum after a dull start.

In its opening week, the film managed to collect only ₹8.27 crore, and during the second weekend, it added just ₹66 lakh.

In total, Telusu Kada has earned an estimated ₹8.93 crore net in 10 days at the Indian box office. With GST adjustments, the gross stands at ₹10.53 crore. Given the poor trend, the film is expected to exit theatres after the second week.

The final collection is likely to settle around ₹10 crore, against a reported budget of ₹45 crore. This means a deficit of nearly 77.77%, making it a strong contender to become Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s biggest failure post-COVID, surpassing Jack (which had a 77.4% deficit on a ₹35 crore budget and earned ₹7.91 crore net).

Despite Siddhu’s growing popularity, Telusu Kada has proved that even star power can’t save a film without strong content.
