It just might be — if past trends are anything to go by. When rumors first surfaced that Prithviraj Sukumaran would be part of the Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu project, many dismissed them as speculation.
Eventually, those rumors turned out to be true, and the actor has already joined Mahesh on set for the film.
Now, a fresh wave of buzz suggests that Tamil superstar Vikram is also part of the cast and may join the shoot soon.
Interestingly, this isn’t a new rumor — it's been doing the rounds for a while, but has now resurfaced with renewed intensity.
Back in August last year, Vikram himself addressed the speculation.
“Rajamouli and I have been in touch. I will definitely do a film with him in the future. However, there have never been any discussions about the Mahesh Babu film,” he clarified.
Notably, Prithviraj made a similar statement in the past, denying involvement — and yet, he ended up being a key part of the film. That parallel is leading many to believe Vikram’s inclusion could also soon be confirmed.
At present, Rajamouli has taken a brief break from the film’s schedule to attend the RRR live concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where he was joined by Ram Charan and Jr. NTR — a mini reunion of the RRR team.
With speculation heating up again, fans are eagerly waiting to see if Vikram will indeed join this much-anticipated global project.
