Sreeleela made her Tamil debut with “Parasakthi” alongside rising star Sivakarthikeyan.
She hoped the film would pave the way for a strong success streak in Tamil cinema. However, despite facing no major competition, “Parasakthi" ended up as a box office failure.
Her first attempt in Kollywood did not deliver the desired result, but it has clearly not stalled her career. On the contrary, Sreeleela continues to receive more offers from the Tamil film industry despite the setback.
She is now set to pair up with another rising Tamil star, Pradeep Ranganathan, for her second Tamil film. This development underlines the confidence filmmakers continue to have in her.
Sreeleela has also not scored any major hits in Telugu in recent times. Yet, she remains in strong demand across industries.
She is making her Bollywood debut later this year, and even before that film hits theatres, she has already signed three more Hindi projects.
This clearly indicates that her market remains strong, irrespective of box office success or failure.
