Nikhil got nationwide fame with Kartikeya 2 and he is coming with a national thriller SPY which is arriving in cinemas on the 29th of this month. Popular editor Garry BH is making his directorial debut with the movie produced by K Rajashekhar Reddy.
Nikhil gave an exclusive interview to greatandhra.com ahead of the film’s release where he shared interesting aspects about the movie.
The actor informs to have dubbed for both Telugu and Hindi versions of the movie.
“Like for Karthikeya 2, I dubbed for Telugu and Hindi. In the future as well, I will dub only in these two languages which I’m very comfortable with.”
Nikhil says he went to the office of the producer to say no.
“I didn’t expect that the producer will come up with such a brilliant story. He gave me a questionnaire after narrating the story. I got confidence in him at that very moment. That’s how this movie happened. We needed a director who can take the movie on his shoulder. I apologize to Garry BH for all the trouble we have given to him. Garry is a successful editor and he has good clarity on every aspect of filmmaking. He keeps making betterments.”
The actor reveals that the story was okayed much before Karthikeya 2.
“However, Karthikeya 2 happened first. We didn’t make many changes in the story of SPY. Though we did a few changes to the backstory of the villain. SPY is a clean entertainer that can be watched with all the family members. The movie will have high moments for every 10 minutes.”
Nikhil thanks Rana for accepting to do an important role in the movie.
“I need to thank Rana garu. He’s my childhood friend. He’s my classmate in HPS. He loved the story and his character. He is a big asset. He is a Pan India star.”
Because of the kind of movies Nikhil is doing, there are opinions of the actor supporting a political party.
“I will never enter politics in my life. I’m not built for it. I want to make a change through the form of art and cinema.”
Nikhil has Swayambhu, The India House, and Karthikeya 3 in the pipeline.
