Spirit Sold... But Fauji and Raja Saab Still Pending

Prabhas’ films are always hot cakes in the digital market. The best example is Spirit, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga–Prabhas film.

Its digital rights were sold long ago for a massive ₹160 crore, even before the film properly went on floors. That’s the kind of demand the Prabhas–Vanga combination has.

But interestingly, two other Prabhas films still haven’t been sold to OTT platforms.

One is Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Technically, this one is almost sold; only the final agreement has to be signed. A few small issues are delaying it.

The second is Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. This film was expected to lock its OTT deal quickly, but it still hasn’t happened.

OTT companies already have many Prabhas movies lined up, including Salaar 2 and Kalki 2898 AD Part 2. Because of that, they’re not showing much urgency for new deals right now.

By the end of this month, the Raja Saab agreement will likely be completed. Fauji, however, may take more time.
