Mahesh Babu’s 13 year old daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni, has issued a warning about fake accounts using her name.
On August 19, she clarified through her official Instagram handle that she is active only on Instagram and urged fans not to interact with other profiles pretending to be her.
Sitara stressed that several spam accounts have been spreading misleading content and asked followers to stay cautious.
This is not the first such incident. Last year, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar had also raised concerns when impersonators created fake accounts of their daughter.
At that time, Madhapur police confirmed cybercrime activity where a fraudster used Sitara’s name to send trading and investment links.
Authorities continue to advise fans to verify authenticity before trusting online profiles. Sitara currently enjoys 2.2 million Instagram followers.
It is indeed a warning bell for all those impersonators, as the law is very strict regarding fake online accounts of celebrities and their minor children.
Acts will be more severe when the minors are troubled by any means.
